Prescription Diets
All veterinary diets must be purchased under the name of the pet's owner or an authorized representative in our system. 

The following diets require authorization from your pet's veterinarian prior to purchase:
  • Royal Canin Veterinary Diets: all
  • Hills Prescription Diets: U/d, R/d, S/d, Y/d, L/d, + H/d

You may bring in a valid written prescription, have your DVM's offices email us a copy of your pet's prescription directly, or our team can call your veterinarian's office to verify authorization over the phone.  These diets cannot be sold without a current veterinary authorization on file.

Once a prescription has been verified the first time, we'll update our records so you won't need to repeat the process unless the prescription expires.

Return Policy
General (all items unless excepted below):
  • Returns/exchanges accepted within 14 days of purchase date
  • All refunds will be granted as store credit (gift card)
  • Original sales receipt and all original packaging required
  • Customers are responsible for any difference owed when exchanging items
  • All returned items must be 100% new, clean, unused, and resellable condition (including attached tags)
  • "Resellable condition" is determined on a case-by-case basis by Grand Lake All About Pets
  • We reserve the right to refuse any return/exchange at our sole discretion
  • *In the event a purchased item is found to be defective, please contact the manufacturer directly!

Hills, Royal Canin, and Purina:
  • Returns/exchanges accepted within 12 months of purchase date
  • All refunds will be granted as store credit (gift card)
  • Original sales receipt and all original packaging required
  • Customers are responsible for any difference owed when exchanging items

Customized Items:
  • Includes engraved ID tags + customized Chase Leather items
  • Returns/exchanges not accepted
  • If a Chase Leather item is found to be defective/requires repair, please email us with photos. We'll let the artist know so she can reach out to you.

Special orders (items not normally carried in store):
  • Returns/exchanges not accepted
  • Please confirm return eligibility with staff prior to purchase
Special Orders
Need a different size or color of something we already carry?  Most variations of products we already stock can be special ordered for you! 

Let us know what you're looking for, as well as your name, phone number, and/or email address.  A member of our team will follow up ASAP to let you know when your item has arrived, or what options might be available to order.  


Please note that special orders require advance purchase - this can be done in store or over the phone.
Recurring Food Orders

Hills, Royal Canin, Purina

We're happy to schedule recurring (weekly or monthly) orders for large bags and full cases of cat/dog food. Just let us know which products, how much, and how often you'll need them!

During our normal restock orders, we'll add extra quantities of those items just for you - this way you'll always get the amount you need! Your recurring order items will be held aside until you come in to purchase, then we'll place another order for you. You can always call/email if you need to pause, stop, or change the items in a recurring order :)
Phone Orders /  Pre-Paying
We know life (and parking!) can be chaotic.  You can always call the store to purchase specific items in advance.  We'll have everything packed up and ready when you pull your car around for pickup.  As that day's staffing allows, we can often help carry your order out!

Our system has the ability to securely store your billing information (details are encrypted) to make phone orders even easier.  If you would like to set up this feature, please come into the store with the physical card in your name and a valid form of legal ID to register.  This is a optional, manual process - card details are never saved unless you specifically request it.


*Please note that phone orders are limited to our stock on hand. Staff are unable to assist with carryouts if it will leave the store unattended.

Coupons
We accept original manufacturer's coupons within the exact parameters set by said coupon, including specific product requirements, minimum purchase amounts, and expiration dates.
 
  • No photocopies, however printed coupons with valid offer codes and UUIDs are accepted
  • Coupons are limited to one coupon per transaction, per customer, per day (unless the coupon itself specifically states otherwise in its terms)
  • All coupons must be surrendered to Grand Lake All About Pets at the time of redemption

While we apologize for any confusion or inconvenience, we do reserve the right to decline coupons that are deemed invalid according to the terms communicated to us by the manufacturer.
